Special Thanks...

Special Thanks goes to Kim, who owns Morton Moments which is a sister site to her Robert Dowdell site. Without her suggestions and support, this site would not be what it is today. :-)

Also, I would like to thank the Yahoo Seaview group for they are a great bunch of people!

I would especially like to thank Robert Dowdell for his fantastic portrayal of Chip Morton. If it weren't for Mr. Dowdell, Mr. Morton wouldn't be as fantastic as he was! ;-) You are fantastic, Mr. Dowdell and much appreciated!!

My Fav Pics page 3

January 23, 2008

Isn't it amazing how time slips away when you are not looking? Recently, I decided to resize all the large number screen cap pages that had more than 40 pics on them. It was either that or add more pages for one subject. This is for faster loading so no one will fall asleep waiting for the page to finish loading.

Just completed The Fossil Men--I was actually stalling so I wouldn't run out of episodes waiting for Season Four to drop in.

October 20, 2007

My goodness where has this year gone to???

Updated the eBay Finds Page Two with scrumptious pics of Mr. Morton. Am currently waiting on more stuff to arrive and they will posted when they do.

I was able to update a couple Chip pages without the red watermark as well. The last one was the Human Computer.

I also decided the change detection monitor thingy was annoying so I got rid of it.

Can hardly wait until the next DVD arrives! ;-)

Speaking of DVD releases...if you are a "Emergency!" fan as I am, then you probably know by now of the release of Season Four coming in January...:-)

October 14, 2007

Yesterday the eBay Finds page was updated with cool stuff. I even added a second page as well as created a Scripts page since I plan on getting more. More stuff will be added to the eBay pages when it arrives.

Three new Curley's Club pages were added today which includes, Doomsday, The Indestructible Man and The Invaders. This has me caught up until I am able to get more.

October 7, 2007

The Ebay Finds has been updated with lots of Voyage related stuff. I even learned how to bookmark a certain area on a page which is indicated by the link for New Stuff on the eBay page. I have Erika of Emergency Fans to thank for that task. Without her help, I would still be using too much coding.

Also included in the updating of pages are the Site Map to include Curley's Club pages as well a couple other pages not linked elsewhere. One of those pages includes screen caps from the Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen DVD with no infringement rights intended. A couple of gif animations are also included in the updated sitemap.

Strange...for being October in Indiana, it sure was a hot weekend!

No one told me & I sure as heck didn't remember that having a 6 month old kitten around meant I had to baby proof my house. That job only take a year or so....Silly cat...I wouldn't trade him for anything. :-)

September 30, 2007

Added three pages to Curley's Club this week which included Submarine Sunk Here, Magnus Beam and No Way Out. Also added three scripts to the Ebay Finds page as well a pic of my newest family member to My Page.

Included in updates on Chip's Corner are new watermark-less pics to pages through chip20. Have 13 more pages to go through before I complete Season One without that dreaded red watermark. As I am updating pages without the watermark, I am also removing comments made while my mind was separated from my head at the time.

I am still on the lookout for that perfect Robert Dowdell/Chip Morton memorabilia on eBay. I have obtained several new items to display once they arrive at my mailbox. :-) None of which are just Dowdell/Morton related but are Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea related, much like everything else.

September 23, 2007

Added 40 trading cards to My Ebay Finds page today as well as this week, I managed to work on Curley's Club adding a couple more pages.

I also established a new email address since spammers decided to fill my previous email box up via the comments page. You will locate the new email addy at the bottom of the each page. Take me to your leader. ;-) Slowly working on getting that link up on the pages....

Also established My Page recently but hadn't linked it yet. Basically it is a just a fan page with some silly pics of yours truly.

Also, still slowly working on replacing Season One pics without the watermark. I've completed through The Blizzard Makers.

September 9, 2007

Completed Season Three Volume One today. Can you believe it??
But the other day I started working Season One again to remove the watermark on the pics. Rather than go into the discs I put the images on, I decided to get new screen caps from the DVDs. ;-) I figured with all the moving I did with the pics, they might appear not so great. Experienced that problem in the beginning of the site creation after moving from the Marco domain. With the completion of Season Three Volume I can now concentrate on other projects I started, including the creation of a new site called Curley's Club.
I decided to create this site to honor Henry Kulky who played our beloved CPO Jones for a couple reasons.

One: He deserved to be recognized as a valuable part of Season One and
Two: Because I saw a lack of tributes for him on the Internet other than on the Irwin Allen Network.

I just have to gather the pics and put them in some kind order....

Since I am one to tribute someone in the shadows such as Ron Pinkard (Pinkard Project), Vince Howard (Vince), the animals used in Emergency (51 Mascots)and Tim Donnelly (Tim's Tales), all of which are tributes for those in the 1970's TV show "Emergency".

Since I am plugging my other non related Voyage sites, I may as well include Mathis Moments. :-) A tribute to my favorite singer....

My Fav Pics page will soon be updated including the pic that disappeared the other day. It is there but at a different link....And I do plan on getting around to doing great things to the slideshows without Java script but other projects have kept me from that project.

August 31, 2007

Is it the end of August already? Started Season Three this past week and revamped the background colors for Season Two..however, I am unhappy with the results and plan on changing the color again. I also became annoyed with the red watermark in Season One and have began the task of re-doing all those pages without the mark. I also learned to do a gif animation with Kim's help and suggestions from the Seaview group and have also re-done the landing page using my new found knowledge. LOL I even took that knowledge to the landing page of Marco Through the Years. Wasn't quite what I had in mind but it works. :-)The site map is now updated with season Three eppy's Monster From the Inferno, Werewolf, The Day the World Ended and Night of Terror. Believe it or not, I discovered an even faster way of creating a page....It's all a matter of copy & paste and juggling...LOL

August 25, 2007

Completed Season Two today, complete with updating the Site Map and My Fav Pics page. :-) If some images appear dark, this is due to my using two different screen capture programs...one keeps giving me fits therefore I must use the other one which makes images appear darker than the other one. Starting with Season Three, I am going to change the background color which is what I should have done with Season Two. LOL

August 19, 2007

Completed the following episodes this past week: The Sky's on Fire, Graveyard of Fear, The Shape of Doom and Dead Men's Doubloons. Since the humidity is down this weekend, I have been working on other projects....so the site is only going to have a couple pages done this weekend. Comments made at the bottom of the page in Dead Men's Doubleoons concern Mr. Dowdell's facial expressions. LOL I just love his facial expressions!

Also created a eBay finds page...

August 13, 2007

Starting with Mutiny in the 1st Season, you can click and drag a non-thumbnail pic to the address bar for a full size view of said pic. This is an unknown secret I recently discovered. LOL All others previously were smaller pics. I gave up attempting to to have various sizes on the site as I was confusing myself.

August 12, 2007

Completed Season Two Volume One DVD this past week and started on Volume Two.

So far, I have Terror on Dinosaur Island, Killers of the Deep, Deadly Creature Below and The Phantom Strikes. I also figured out how to create thumbnails without actually creating a "tn" file to upload. This has been a real time saver and help and I don't have to check to see if the large files are uploaded now. My Fav Pics page is updated through Season Two Volume One.

August 5, 2007

Added pages from Season Two this weekend which includes:

The Left Handed Man, The Deadliest Game, Leviathan and The Peacemaker

There wasn't many pics from the Peacemaker but my comments in Laviathan makes up for it. LOL

August 3, 2007

Added pages from Season Two this week which includes:

Jonah & the Whale, Time Bomb, And Five of Us Are Left and Escape From Venice.

Since Chip was not in The Cyborg, there are no pics for this episode.

July 29, 2007

Finally completed Season One today with the rest of the episodes not listed below. Upgraded the screen capture program showing a major difference with the caps beginning with Secret of the Loch. Didn't have any slideshows with these episodes but hope they are enjoyable anyway. ;-)

July 22, 2007

Added pages for Season One Volume Two Disc One this past week, which includes:

The Last Battle, Mutiny, Doomsday, The Invaders, The Indestructible Man and The Buccanner.

You will also find slideshows for Doomsday and The Invaders. I hope you enjoy my indecision. LOL

July 14, 2007

This site was created June 3, 2007 out of the desire for this character to have equal time on the Internet. :-)

The character of Lt Commander Chip Morton belongs to Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Irwin Allen Productions. There is no intention by me, my visitors or fellow Chip fans to infringe on any right. It is only here for your enjoyment.

This site was first created as a sub-domain from my Marco Through the Years site. After completing more than 10 pages, it dawned on me I needed it's own domain and webspace, therefore, on June 18, 2007, that task was completed and the slow task of moving and re-doing pages began.

As time progressed with my revamping of the site, I managed to complete all previous pages on July 12, 2007.

As you surf through pages, you will notice dramatic changes as the episodes are slowly put up. This is due to my experimenting and the end result is fantastic.

The most noticeable change is in the links sections at the top. I had the desire to plug Morton Moments since it was established first and because I love sifting through it.

I also knew with all my pics, dial up users would have a difficult time getting through the endless pics the way the site has been put together. I wanted to establish a link just for them as I am a former dialup user myself and know their pain quite well. This is one reason I created My Fav Pics page

ABOUT THIS SITE AND ME

Back when Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was in its original run, I was a child. I recall my dad would watch this show and since this was the 1960's, there was only one television in the house which was shared all family members. What ever one person was watching so did the entire family.

Given that thought, this was me which is my second grade picture, although it could have been first grade. At any rate, it was taken at the time of the original run of the series.

Many years later, around 1993, I was searching for something to record on TV and located VTTBOTS broadcast late at night on a Chicago area TV station, which is 90 miles north of my residence. Needless to say, I found myself hooked on the show and enjoyed every moment of my latest obsession.

Particularly, I fell madly in love with Chip Morton, although I was never attracted to a blond male. I always went for the dark headed guys and loved green eyes. Mr. Morton was the strong silent type and there was something about him that just drove me wild. :-)

Years passed and I found myself obsessing once again over the show and Mr. Morton. Upon watching the show on DVD again, I knew I had to create a Chip Morton website, although the best site is Morton Moments with its tidbits and yummy pictures. One can never have too much of Mr. Morton!

As of today, July 14, 2007, I am currently working on Season One Volume Two pics with having just uploaded The Last Battle this morning. Also, I managed to obtain almost 950 pics from Mutiny so I will have difficulty in picking and choosing.
